These pictures were taken the night before I headed in to start the induction.
I figured it was my last chance to get this type of picture for some number of years until I'm insane enough to get knocked up again.
First, a nod to my beloved fellow geeks and Trek fans. The button says "Go where no man has gone before." I suppose in my case it should have said "Go where many men have gone before."
Next, the photo from my sidebar. The belly is unavoidably big. I had wanted to recreate the shot exactly, but (a) I couldn't wear the heels and (b) I couldn't handle putting my leg up that high on the book case.
A cute filmy number that's reminiscent of many pregnancy tops, but way cuter. Thank you Fredericks of Hollywood.
And then a strap broke as I was adjusting it...so gratuitous breast shot for y'all
Finally, a sneak peek at the other lover who has spent a great deal of time pressed against my naked body in Sexyhusband's and my bed over the past few months. Introducing the snoogle...best pregnancy pillow ever. It's made to be a giant C, so that it curves under your head and between your thighs to keep your hips in line. Comfy...but Sexyhusband will be glad to kick it out of bed.

Sorry it took so long to post thing, but the Deliciously Naughty/Sexyhusband baby, who will be referred to as the "Little Mistress" (as it is already clear I'm the service bottom in this particular 24/7 relationship) arrived on Monday morning. There were a few problems that have landed her in the NICU (baby intensive care unit) but our story has a happy ending, and now that I know she'll be getting sprung from the NICU this afternoon (fingers crossed) I felt like I could breathe enough to let you guys know she's arrived safely.
If you know me personally, email me and I'll share the story, but I prefer not to share too much here.
I will, however, give you a picture of something we were able to pull of for the first time this morning...

But don't forget---vote or you'll make the Little Mistress cry...and DN has had a rough enough week as it is.
And for the record...I managed to get an emergency absentee ballot and voted this morning. Sexyhusband is playing errand boy for me and delivering the ballot as we speak.
One of our last dinners as a couple without children, and the following appears on my plate...
Decidedly phallic, isn't it? I don't think the picture does it justice. It actually looked phallic enough that I waited to eat it until last because it just felt WRONG somehow to bite down on a poor innocent penis chicken finger.
Anyhow, I found the incident entertaining enough to post this even as I'm about to go in to get things going.
